Be a Part of Our New Book!

A new in-depth history book focused on Arbuckle and College City history is in the works and YOU can be part of it!

Currently, our team is seeking to book interviews, accept family histories, photographs, memorabilia, and information pertaining to any building, business, site, family, stories, or people in the Arbuckle and College City area!

Current Projects

In 2022, we sought out to begin writing a new history book following the 1978 book "Arbuckle and College City" by Helen D. Young! After obtaining all rights to this publication, we coordinated a re-print project to help fund our endeavor.  Re-prints are still available below for purchase and you can also follow updates for the new sequel as well. Be sure to check back in to see what new and exciting things are taking place!

About the Project Coordinator

Elijah Rodriguez is our Project Coordinator. After wanting to create a sequel to the 1978 book, Arbuckle and College City written by retired Pierce Joint Union High School teacher Helen D. Young, he reached out and was provided the copyright to reproduce the original book including all photos and materials within it's pages. Now he is working on public outreach into his community to piece together Arbuckle and College City's histories where Helen Young left off.

Elijah is the President of the Arbuckle Revitalization Committee and the Director/Curator of the Sacramento Valley Museum. He encourages everyone to become involved in their communities and the unique histories they provided no matter where in the world you may be.
